An early Daria supersite ("the chronologically third unofficial Daria website") run by Katherine Goodman, last updated on June 29, 1998. It owed its name and logo to the cyber-cafe in "Cafe Disaffecto."
One of the more popular features of the site was the "makeovers" section. A character makeover was created either by making an original drawing of a character from the show wearing a new outfit, or more commonly, editing an existing drawing of a character in their regular attire. When MTV first created a website for Daria, they included a basic drawing of each main character on the show. These were the most common source of base material for the fan-made makeovers.
The site was still in existence at the end of 2009.
Trivia
- While Kara Wild was studying at the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK in 1998, she relied upon Katherine Goodman's episode descriptions to keep her informed about the Season Two episodes that had aired.
