Aunt Bernice

Aunt Bernice is a relative of Jane and Trent Lane shown in the episode, "The Teachings of Don Jake." She lives in Middlebury, likes to wear straw hats, and flew on the same plane as Jane and Trent to the Lane family reunion. Trent did not think much of her, which was unfortunate as he voiced his opinion of her without knowing she was seated close by on the plane. Bernice got her revenge when Jane and Trent were stuck without a taxi: she pulled up in a rented car next to them, grinned evilly, and then drove off, leaving them to walk. The next day, however, they apparently stole that car to drive to the airport and leave early.

Because Jane and Trent were heading to the Lane family reunion, it is likely that Bernice is a sister of Vincent Lane.
