Bathing with Archimedes is a crossover story with the SyFy Channel series, Eureka by Richard Lobinske and is the first story in the It's Eureka, Daria series.
When Helen accepts a better offer from Global Dynamics, the Morgendorffers move to Eureka instead of Lawndale. The town's mysterious therapist, Beverly Barlowe is pleased the Daria quickly befriends Jane Lane, who had moved to town a year before with her parents. Daria quickly learns about the risks of new technology in town when a sun-screen ring she is given by one of Jake's clients reacts badly with her glasses.
