Highland

Fictional small town, presumed in fanon to be in Texas, where Beavis and Butt-head was set. Daria Morgendorffer was a freshman at Highland High School there. In Daria, the town is referenced only once, in the first episode, "Esteemsters." The bizarre elements of life in that town are attributed by Daria in that episode to the presence of uranium in the drinking water.

In an interview (see below), Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge stated that Highland, to him, lay in West Texas or eastern New Mexico.
