Langston Chambers
Langston Chambers is the very capable, albeit young, forest guide first seen working with Hank Stewart on Grace Island in Legion of Lawndale Heroes 11.5. She is eightteen years old and stunningly attractive (she is 5'3 and very shapely, with shaggy, naturally platinum-blonde hair and large blue eyes), and is dating Charles 'Upchuck' Ruttheimer, which amazes the female Legionnaires to no end.
With the help of Jane Lane (who waives the rule that Legion members must be under eighteen when they join), she founds the first chapter of the National Legion in her home town of Anchorage.
In 'A Legion Halloween', Langston is seen as a guest at the Legion Halloween costume ball, where she is dressed as Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love. She and Chandni Kaur are seen as being incredibly comfortable with Charles. It has been mentioned that Langston has moved from Alaska to the Lawndale/Baltimore area, and that she and Charles are taking their relationship a bit more seriously.
Alternate universe appearances of Langston
In the Daylight alternate universe setting-fic Baked Alaska, Langston is seen as one of the few native Alaskan survivors of Zero Hour; she was on Grace Island at the time and thus survived. She also had the Legion Ring of Charles 'Upchuck' Ruttheimer left with her after a visit to her Anchorage home, as they are dating; Langston used the ring's distress signal to summon Julia Carlyle, who was in space above Alaska at the time. (She was recording footage of the Alaska Pipeline's destruction and the resulting enviromental disaster.)
Before leaving Grace Island to summon help for the Alaskans, Julia deputized Langston as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal, and gave her a M3 (pistol-variant) model of a PFT Weapon as her sidearm. Because of the uncontrollable devastation caused by the fires from the Alaska Pipeline's destruction, Langston chose to leave Grace Island with the other evacuees. She is now assigned to Lawndale by the U.S. Marshal's Service and works closely with the Legion; she has taken up residence at Legion Tower.
Alternate future appearances of Langston
In LLH Chapter Eleven, a possible future is shown where Langston marries Hank and they have children and grandchildren. This includes a granddaughter, Delia Stewart, who is nearly identical to her in appearance when she was younger, but far more girlish and slightly irresponsible).
