Part Of The Solution
A Legion of Lawndale Heroes 'Mini' that details a meeting at Val Magazine between 'Val' and several members of two conservative groups, who seek to admonish Val for her issue featuring a 'cheesecake'-style photo of Daria Morgendorffer in a partially-disrobed state after falling into a stream on Grace Island during Outlast exercise she and her fellow Legionnaires were involved in.
The leaders of the representatives sent by the groups - Doctor Aethan James Brantly, Rene Raeder-Harde and U.S. Senator Anton Washingtine - try to convince and then browbeat Val into following their agenda for the magazine. They are shocked when Val, in (as they see it) an uncharacteristic explosion of willpower, dresses them down and flatly rejects any idea of using their ideas for the magazine (especially in the case of Raeder-Harde, who she verbally decimates in an explosive outburst sprinkled with profanity).
After they leave, Val (after searching for her now-missing staff), is treated to a standing ovation by her entire staff - and a horde of other persons from throughout the building where Val Magazine is located. She finds from Debbie Cawthon, one of her staffers, that the entirety of her conversation with the conservatives was broadcast via intercom through the entire building.
