Recruitment Day

Recruitment Day is a story by Richard Lobinske set within the "Daylight" shared environment. The story begins during the events of Camp Fear. Following their little distraction after cleaning the garage, Helen and Jake, the first Coronal Mass Ejections hit Earth. Moments after the electrically powered items in their bedroom begin to explode, they suddenly find themselves lying on the floor of a strange room and a strange man looking at them.

After getting them clothes, the man introduces himself as Richard and explains that they have been recruited to join the support staff of The Agency. When Helen askes about their daughters, Richard explains that they will be protected at Camp Grizzly and that they have an important future ahead of them.
