Jake Mackenzie comes from an alternate reality that also possesses a version of the Legion of Lawndale Heroes; in this reality, Jake is the youngest son of this world's Daria and Mack. Detecting the potential for the unborn Jake to be a Ringwraith of unusual compaatibility for its own purposes, Vengeance Ring 167 stalked him since the moment of his birth, blocking his powers and essentially turning him into a squib. Jake grew bitter in a family full of demi-gods.
When Ring 167 presented itself to it, he gladly accepted it, at the time believing his sister was to blame for his girlfriend's death. His latent cosmic powers were activated and he started a rather short career as an anti-hero before he ended up murdering his family during a family gathering.
After that he joined the other remaining Ringwraiths with the sole purpose of recreating the dark corps.
Powers and Abilities
Jake Mackenzie is in possession of the Vengeance Ring known as Vengeance Ring 167. Unlike like the other two remaining Vengeance Rings still in existance (and thus depowered) after the Vengeance Ring Crisis, Vengeance Ring 167 is capable of facing off against very powerful adversaries (such as Victor Von Doom) Defender Rings of equal power as its own (even when wielded by very strong-willed Ringbearers who can access the Ring's higher capabilities), the Alpha Ring and Beta Ring, or even advanced technology. However, it has been implied that this is only the product of the Ring possessing more experience than any wearer, rather than raw power, as well as a fierce sense of self-preservation.
Being the son of Legionaries Daria and Mack, he possess vast super powers that are not related to his Ring; however, these have not been as yet revealed.
His elemental-affinity is that of Earth. His capabilities in using this power are currently unknown, but Jake has been seen creating armor suits made of diamond (in the same manner as Ringbearer Codex uses).
