Saint Patrick's Day (character)

St. Patrick's Day is a fictional holiday character who, along with Cupid, arrives in Lawndale in the episode "Depth Takes A Holiday." They are searching for Christmas, Guy Fawkes Day, and Halloween, who have escaped from Holiday Island. St. Patrick's Day appears to be a tall leprechaun (or a short teenager) in modern clothing, and is described by Daria as a leprechaun.

Because he is Irish, St. Patrick's Day holds a lot of animosity towards Guy Fawkes Day, who is English. Ironically, the real Guy Fawkes was one of the leaders of the Gunpowder Plot, which sought to destroy the English Parliament and restore Catholic Rule to England. This was something that St. Patrick's Day would likely have approved of.

In "Depth Takes A Holiday," St. Patrick's Day was shown to have breath that smells of beer; this was accompanied with a small, visible exhalation of green-colored breath (most likely, the green exhalation was caused by his other-dimensional (magical?) nature as a representation of Ireland). He mentions that the 'beer-breath' is 'congenial'; even more interestingly, St. Patrick's Day mentions that he is not a drinker.

Trivia

St Patrick's Day would probably be very upset to find out how many British people celebrate his day.
