Succession Crisis is the third story in the Daria Von Doom Series by Richard Lobinske

Summary

Tending to her first child, Princess Jane Valeria, Queen Daria Von Doom is surprised by the arrival of her biological father, Doctor Doom, returning in defeat from his attempt to rule Hell. She tells him that that she considers his abdication final and her succession complete, but that he is welcome to stay as Archduke of Doomstadt. Rejected by the citizens of Latveria when he tries to gain their support, he goes to his remaining biological child, Quinn, and tells her how Queen Daria has plotted to keep her away from her rightful place. Daria eventually discovers that her father is possessed by the demon Mephisto, leaving her to try to discover a way to defeat Mephisto while saving Doctor Doom and her new daughter.
