Excessive Personal Information
DocForbin, is it really a wise idea to have so much personal information on this page? You've listed not only your birthdate and full name, but the full names of your mother and stepfather, where your mother used to work, the names of your high school and colleges, and the name of your stepfather's print shop. Are you aware that because this information is so easily accessible, the potential for it to be abused is quite high? There have been cases where people were stalked or harassed very severely because someone was able to locate their telephone number or home address using personal information that was posted excessively. You're making the same mistake here that people like Chris-chan and Kevin Havens have made before you. I strongly recommend that you limit the amount of personal information you post in the future, especially when you're posting about family members. InnerCircle 04:29, 5 May 2010 (CDT)

I'm trying to be polite, why the hostility? Online harassment and identity theft are genuine issues, but more importantly, a lot of the information you've posted in your biography has no relevance to your contributions to Daria fandom and fanfiction. Just because the article in question is about you, that does not make it "your page". Whenever you edit a page, the words "Please note that all contributions to DariaWiki are considered to be released under the GNU Free Documentation License 1.2 (see Project:Copyrights for details). If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here." are displayed. Instead of just reverting my edit, why don't you add information talking about some fanfic authors you enjoy, or maybe some of your favorite episodes of the show? InnerCircle 03:31, 6 July 2010 (CDT)
