Taylor is a student of Lawndale High School. Although he is not seen on-screen, he is referenced in the episode Pinch Sitter, where he is a long-term dating prospect for Quinn: she plans to dump Skylar Feldman in the winter to date him because "his parents have a ski house."

Taylor is a major character in Turnabout Confusion by Dennis, where he is given the last name Billings. At the beginning of the story he is friends with Zoe Becker and is a member of the Drama Club. He meets and falls for the Quinn-ified Daria when the two try out for the school production of The Lion in Winter.
