Terry Perry Barlow is a very wealthy entrepreneur, featured in the episode Of Human Bonding.
Appearance and Characterization
Terry is an extremely overbearing and pushy man, cheerfully making tasteless jokes, dominating conversations, and trying to push people around. He made his fortune with the Pizza Forest chain and is also known as an adventurer.
He wrote of his "adventures" in his book, "I Did It, Why Can’t You?", including a story about saving his balloon crew in an ice storm by climbing up a rope and opening a rip panel with his teeth. This story is later contradicted by Arno, his Danish ballooning crew chief, who states he was the actual person who did it and threatens to reveal the truth to CNN journalist "George Bernie Shaw", including presenting dental records to prove it.
It is known that he has at least two newborn children, who live with their mother. Barlow cheerfully says he pays their mother "a nice settlement" when talking about them.
He knows Andrew Landon through entrepreneur conventions, and the two get on quite well. He has a more dismissive attitude to Jake Morgendorffer, although he still pushes the latter to ride a balloon with him.
Barlow's newest plan for a themed restaurant is Alligator Alley: "New Orleans cuisine, live alligator wrestling!"
In an MTV flipbook, he says his other two books are "The Sky Is Never the Limit!" and "Win Big By Failing Forward".
Trivia
His name is similar to John Perry Barlow, co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and former lyricist for the Grateful Dead. However, this person and the character seem to have few elements in common
