The Hope Mission

Set on 'D-1111' (the Earth in the Daria Multiverse where the Legion of Lawndale Heroes were affected by the 'Daylight Crisis'), The Hope Misssion is a fic that details the first efforts of DELPHI forces that evacuated the world to re-establish communications and set the stage for relief efforts. The fic also firmly establishes the romantic relationship between Quinn Morgendorffer and Danielle Todds (hinted at in 'Behind Blue Eyes' and 'A Legion Halloween').
Trivia
- The Earth that DELPHI forces relocated to operates on a different temporal line; it is late May of 2009 on that Earth, and Barack Obama has been elected President of the United States there.
- Paula Trainor has been promoted to the rank of a four-star General.
- Amy Barksdale is shown to have survived the 'Daylight Crisis'.
- The effects of the solar imbalance in the D-1111 universe are shown to have lasted for roughly seventeen months.
- Quinn has been re-elected as Legion Leader.
- Jane Lane has left the Legion, and has been missing for five months.
- The medical situation has been dire for the area around Lawndale, as there has been a incredible upswing in miscarriages and infant deaths (many due to catastrophic birth defects caused by enviromental contaminants and other causes).
- There is a major United States Military Command base near Arlington, Virginia known as Camp Defiance.
- Jamie White has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the USMC. He and Danielle are very good friends, and he seems to have fully gotten over his crush on Quinn. It is also very likely that he possesses the gravity-control powers that his alternate in the mainstream LLH reality has (as shown in the LLH 'Mini' Contrails), but simply has chosen not to reveal them or attempt to join the Legion.
