Training Cadre 3011

First introduced in "Wagon Train To The Stars", Training Cadre 3011 is a group of seven cadets at the United States Academy of Extranormal Studies that is graduated and commissioned as junior officers in the short period before Zero Hour occurs. The cadre is one of the cadres created the year that Training Cadre 2996 - the cadets known as 'The Alliance' - began their studies at USAES.

Training Cadre 3011 was one of several cadres chosen over the past decade (following the example set by Professor Richard Hiram Blumenberg with The Alliance) for specialized training by DELPHI personnel in the program known as 'Project Starseed'. It was in this capacity (they were trained for possible off-world colonization duty, or to ride out an extinction-level event, in order to restart the species) that they were deployed to Legion Tower to serve under Kyle Armalin's command.

The members of Training Cadre 3011 are:

• Lillian Kressley - weather control, environmental awareness, resistance to mystical forces.

• Charles Herman ('Hermes'} - Flame Generation (with multiple energy effects), defensive flame sheath, flight.

• Fred Nunez - high-level technopath, machine animation, matter animation (relating to machines/technology).

• Sidney Simon - extremely powerful geoforce manipulation and control.

• Christine Blum - telepath/telekinetic.

• Joe Durance - intangibility ('phasing'), superior invisibility (invisible to all detection).
