Trent's car ("Just Add Water")

The Trentmobile (a fan-given name) is Trent Lane's car. It appears to be a dilapidated navy blue 1973 Plymouth Satellite with a tattered gray interior.

Like Max Tyler's Tank, the Trentmobile is in poor working condition. In "Legends of the Mall" it dies twice, and after it overheats Trent, Daria, Jane, and Jake leave it by the side of the road. "It'll be here in the morning," says Trent. "No one ever steals it. Don't know why." This builds on an earlier comment in the series when Trent passes on taking the car to Alternapalooza because he didn't believe it could make the trip. He does use it in many episodes for making short in-town trips. Jane is seen driving this car when she follows Daria home near the end of "Boxing Daria."

Trivia

• If the engine dies, the Trentmobile can sometimes be restarted with a properly timed hit on the dashboard.
• In "Mart of Darkness," Jesse Moreno says he thinks square headlights would look good on it.
• In Daria's Inferno, whenever Trent appears lying on his bed, Daria sarcastically quips, "It's Trent and his Trentmobile."
