Tutor

tutor is a post-canon romance short story written by Jim North. It is the fifth story written for the friends (more than) series, specifically written as a prequel/expansion of a side-story related in "collar." It is the first in the series to deal with a non-slash pairing, as well as the first to have a male main character.

Despite the capitalization of the title of this article, the correct spelling of the fic's title is with a lower case "t".

It won Favorite Romance - Straight in the 2010 Daria Fanworks Awards.

Synopsis

After Tiffany fails her senior year, Ted is called in to tutor her over the summer. As he helps her delve into the things that hold her back both scholastically and as a person, a mutual attraction begins to grow.
