Xanadu Professional Couples Counseling

Xanadu Professional Couples Counseling (sic) is an agency that helps professional couples with their marital difficulties. They use their data-gathering infrasystem and interpersonal relationary management skills to create personalised treatment programs. They charge $400 nonrefundable consultation fees, which they say "may be a reimbursable expense".

Xanadu warns that "marital strain can affect job performance, which in turn can knock you write off the fast track at the office - so your marriage is worth saving!".

Their questionnaire shows they deal with couples in severe difficulty: answers for the question "our children say we:" include "aren't fooling anyone", one on the frequency of sexual relations includes "once a year" and "define sexual relations", and one on the last time your spouse said they loved you includes "over the Internet" and "during the Bush Administration".

In "The Daria Database", Helen Morgendorffer had left out her last copy of Xanadu's questionnaire for Jake, asking him "this time please try to keep your temper". Daria appears aware of it.
