Bromwell Bound: That One Fateful Summer is a story written by HolyGrail2007 set during the summer following Is It College Yet?

The story follows Tom Sloane's final months in Lawndale before going to Bromwell, following his breakup with Daria Morgendorffer. He attempts to move on with his life, but finds himself caught in his own bitterness over the couple's breakup. As a result he argues with Daria and Jane Lane several times. In the end, after months of loneliness, Tom and Daria reconcile their differences and agree to remain friends when Daria acknowledges her own bitterness at being rejected.

It won Favorite Post-Is It College Yet? and Favorite Character Development/Redevelopment/Growth (shared), and was nominated for Favorite Drama, in the 2009 Daria Fanworks Awards.
